Why did you choose to affiliate with your political party?

Mandy asked:

What beliefs do you share with your political party and did your beliefs come from your parents, your social class, your community, your region? Or what other reasons made you affiliate with your party?

I used to be domocrate, because i believed that everyone should be fair, and it should be the rights of the people to choose what they can and cannot do. I did not like the idea that a government said i couldn’t have a doctor assisted suicide or abortion.

Then i found Ron Paul, who has that same belief that we should do whatever we like, but at the same time you are responsible for your own money. Someone isn’t going to magically take care of you. If youa e bad with money, you will have tough times. If you are good with money, you will do fine.

So now i’m a constitutionist , or maybe you call me a libertarian.

So now, i’m the Ron Paul party.

This is a fun question, because I was a Republican on this date last year. I’ve pretty much committed to voting straight ticket Democrat these past two days watching the Republican party implode.

Because I detest the extremes of the Rep and Dem parties. I find them both useless.
